Tucson Care Card

Sudden cardiac death is the leading cause of natural death in the United States. The Steven M. Gootter Foundation was established in honor of Steven Gootter, a 42-year-old father of two whose life was taken by sudden cardiac death. The Foundation funds scientific research, works to increase awareness of the disease among those who might be at risk, and fosters education about SCD.

Tennis has always been an incredibly fashionable sport. From the time when women played in long dresses and corsets to the present day when tennis stars are designer muses, fashion has been a part of the elegance of the sport. White dresses evolved into crisp skirts and tailored shorts. Since then, tennis outfits have come in a range of colors and styles, from sporty to feminine. On March 16th, the Steven M. Gootter Foundation is hosting the Gootter Grand Slam, a tennis tournament and gala event. The Gootter Foundation was one of TFW 2013's beneficiaries and we're happy to be partnering with them this year as well.
