The Open Model Call for TFW 2014 will take place May 10th, 9am - 12pm. This year, we're excited to announce that we'll be looking for the TFW "It" Girl. The model who wins our "It" Girl contest will get the special opportunity to work closely with the TFW team throughout the year, be featured on the TFW blog, experience a model makeover from Fringe Hair Studios (the Salon Sponsor for TFW 2014 and the TFW Model Call), be featured in one of our TFW e-blasts, and other great opportunities throughout the year. The first night of Tucson Fashion Week 2014 will be Thursday, October 16th, and will include a Design Competition. Ten Arizona local and or regional Fashion Designers will be partnered with ten local Interior Designers. Interior Designer will provide and present an object he/she has created such as a chair, lamp, decorative pillow, etc. Fashion Designers will create a garment that is not only inspired by the object but that is a creative fashion interpretation. All ten designers will showcase their garment on the runway at the Opening Night of Tucson Fashion Week.
